I laughed. Then realized this is true.
Also, there needs to be some overlap between “teachers” and “assholes.” Don’t get me wrong, I loved a good number of my teachers! But god, were some of them assholes.
I’m glad I don’t have many High School friends in Tumblr. Cause I’d have to agree. Many of them really are assholes, especially if you come from a private High School for boys full of rich pricks and cunts who’ll probably inherit their family’s businesses anyway no matter how fucked up their lives are.
And if you manage to be able to ignore the dominant asshole group (read: the “popular” ones) by having your own set of friends who belong to the middle of the cool-loser scale, you’re still likely to meet some assholes who have no qualms about pulling you down.
High School is all about feeding your ego by showing how cool and smart and athletic and talented and popular you are, and some people won’t give a crap if they pull you down just so they have their own taste of High School glory.
I’m trying to count how many genuine friendships I’ve had in High School, and by genuine, I mean those who you can really trust and who would gladly go out of their way to help you with your problems. But I’m not sure I can count that many.
I’m obviously ranting. So I’ll stop right here.
I can list down the names of assholes I went to Assumption with, but they’re collectively known as _ _ _. HAHA suck it
WOAH. I totally got that! :)))))
And this is basically what I’ve been thinking throughout these past 4 years.
Quoto. Quotissimo.
